Presteigne are also having a seed swapping morning at the farmers market on Saturday, 6 March from 9am - 1pm.

Lampeter Seedy Saturday is 13th March at Organic Fresh Foods.

MWPN in conjunction with RENEW will be hosting their own Seedy Sunday, in partnership with Transition Towns Rhayader and Llandrindod. Venue: the Doldowlod Walled Garden. Sunday March 14th. Time 12 -2.30pm. Bring home-made veg soup to add to the communal pot!
This event will also offer those half-used packets of seed so many of us have got left over from last season. If you have just bought a new lot which has far too many seeds for your own use, please consider giving some away while they are really fresh!
Please contact MWPN coordinator Roz Brown via the contacts page with offers of soup/cake/seeds asap.

Seed swaps sometimes take place at an event where there is an entry charge. They might also have stallholders which helps with overheads if a venue has to be hired. You don't need to have seed to swap in order to take some away. There is usually a bucket for people to make donations if they want to.  Set ups vary but the idea is to get seed around the community and encourage people to grow so it is ok to go empty handed!
