Health and Wellbeing Day in Lampeter

Transition Llambed Health and Wellbeing Day

10am - 4pm Saturday 20th November

Victoria Hall, Lampeter

Free entry, everyone welcome

Come and join us for a fun day, focusing on how a healthy Lampeter will look in a post-oil, low-carbon future; and enjoy a tasty, nutritious, sustainable FREE LUNCH!


Morning session 10am-11.30 - Practical activities: 'The Strawberry' bicycle-powered smoothie machine with Ymlaen Ceredigion's Healthy Together Project.

Cycling for health and the environment: display of recycled bikes and electrics by Milly Peds.

Reflexology taster sessions with The Art of Wellbeing Fitness warm-up exercises with Paul (bilingual and suitable for all ages)

Advice and information on:

Public Health (NHS nurses)

Dyslexia and Dyspraxia (Lesley)

Energy saving (Transition Llambed)

Project funding (CAVO)

Mid day session 11.30-2.30

Debut performance of Pauline Selston's Aspartame Rap, commissioned for the occasion.

Shiatsu massage workshops with Tamsin Hayes: Learn a simple hand massage for yourself and your friends and family

2 x 30min sessions, maximum 7 people per session, first come first served
