Permaculture learning with Designed Visions this summer
August 13-19th Advanced Permaculture Design Course at the National Botanic Gardens of Wales - VERY good value, and an ideal opportunity to build on design skills with a real life process
. As part of the course an area of the Gardens is to be developed for horticultural training and demonstration purposes, so we will produce designs that could be implemented on this site. Due to its location it's a great opportunity also for members of the SWWPN to take the course and to be further involved with development of the design.
August 24-26th Permaculture Association Britain Convergence at Coed Hills and 27th August - 1st Sept the Designing Your Visions course following it. There is a difference between the APDC and DYV - that is the APDC is focussed around a design activity for the NBGW in particular, with a defined area and multiple clients. The DYV course meanwhile will look at broader issues, components of design such as people care, design process, broad-scale design etc. using recent developments and foci from Looby and Aranya's new books People and Permaculture and Permaculture Design.
