Energy Trail in Snowdonia includes famous Permaculture site

Eryri Energy Trail

Sustainability fair in Penrhyndeudraeth, Saturday May 18. This kicks off a week of activities around renewable energy, fuel efficiency and gardening.

EcoBro CIC and partners intend to hold Snowdonia's first Energy Trail event during Wales Sustainability Week 2013. Households, local businesses and other organisations who have made practical steps towards sustainability will open their doors to the public and tell us how they did it. It will be an opportunity for anyone interested to learn the 'what', 'how' and 'why' of energy efficiency by meeting people in the community who have been there and done it. We will also run a series of free and low-cost talks, tours, intallations and workshops across the area to teach practical energy-saving skills, tell Eryri's energy story and explore environmental matters. As part of the trail Chris Dixon will be showing people around off-grid Tir Penhros Isaf.
