World Food Day - free film event

'The Future of Food'

October 16

Free Film Night on  ‘The Future of Food’ at The Herb Garden Cafe, Llandrindod Wells at 7.00pm

Trawsnewid Llandrindod Transition will be marking World Food Day  on Friday 16th October with another of their popular free film evenings at

the Herb Garden Café  screening the first of George Alagiah’s recent documentaries on the future of food.  What does he reveal about the growing world food crisis and how will it affect us all in the years ahead?    Come and find out more about the global situation, meet others concerned about the future of our food, and hear what is already happening locally!

Doors open at 7pm. There will be refreshments and the film starts at 7.30pm. We will then debate the issues raised in the documentary, and discuss what can be done in our own neighbourhood.
