  • The 2014 Spring Greens Fair


    Bigger, better, bursting with good things green, but still intimate and charming...the 2014 Spring Greens Fair is back this weekend, 3/4 May at the wonderful Court of Noke, Staunton on Arrow. Mid Wales Permaculture Network will be there, of course (perennial forest garden plants for sale and adopt-a-plant with free plants for children. This year there will be even more wonderful food, activities, forum discussions, demonstrations, crafts, performace... see it all here:

LlanidloesGreen Fair

There are plenty of free events to enjoy at Llanidloes' popular Green Fair, starting with Stargazing at 9pm on Friday evening at Llanidloes Golf Club Car Park (weather permitting). The fun continues on Saturday 9th October with Llanidloes Primary School doing their 'Eco-Rap' at 10am, followed by free workshops, films, children's activities a fashion show, art and exhibitions.


A programme of stimulating speakers including children from Macynlleth's Bro Dyfi High School talking about their film 'spOIL', Rhayader's Dave Burridge on 'Wild Food Foraging', and local authors Jay Griffiths and George Marshall, as well as author Bruce Nixon, 'A Better World is Possible'

Tickets for all the talks £15.
