Zero Carbon Concert cancelled

Aberystwyth's Zero Carbon Gig Cancelled - support Côr Gobaith* / Gig dim carbon wedi cael ei canslo

Aberystwyth's first Zero Carbon Concert featuring recent Eisteddfod stars The Horizons has had to be cancelled. Unfortunately the organisers of a free Zero Carbon Concert in Aberystwyth have had to cancel a gig in the bandstand on the Promenade.
It was to be one of many concerts being held on that weekend, just beforethe UN climate summit in Cancun, Mexico.

The Worldwide Zero CarbonConcert intends to demonstrate that it is possible to have fun without causing climate change. The multiple line up at Aberystwyth bandstand was to include Côr Gobaith, Quercus Burlesque, The Unknown, The Present, The Horizons, and Samba Agogo.
Organiser Moth Foster says: "We hoped this would be a fun, low carbon event. Unfortunately we have had to cancel the gig in the bandstand. However we are encouraging people tosupport Côr Gobaith in the square outside Siop y Pethe between 11 & 12."
