    If the TTIP goes ahead, as is being discreetly negotiated at present, it will make billions for the US global corporations and ruin our society, economy and environment in the process.

  • The 2014 Spring Greens Fair


    Bigger, better, bursting with good things green, but still intimate and charming...the 2014 Spring Greens Fair is back this weekend, 3/4 May at the wonderful Court of Noke, Staunton on Arrow. Mid Wales Permaculture Network will be there, of course (perennial forest garden plants for sale and adopt-a-plant with free plants for children. This year there will be even more wonderful food, activities, forum discussions, demonstrations, crafts, performace... see it all here:

Remodeling textiles

Llandrindod Transition members are creating stuff from reclaimed fabrics.and welcome new members to the Llandrindoid Textiles Reuse club.

They have a Yahoo group with its own website and email list here

Meetings are on the first Tuesday of each month at the Herb Garden cafe from 7.30 to 9.30pm

(please bring your own scissors etc, machine if you have one, project if you have one on the go, books, patterns or anything you'd like to bring and show, whatever you would like to have a go at  - this is a social event,

Beginners and experts are all welcome. Knitters, crocheters and other yarn people are also very welcome - this evening is a shared get-together with the Builth Stitch n Bitch club

Free entry; refreshments will be available for purchase in the cafe.
