  • The 2014 Spring Greens Fair


    Bigger, better, bursting with good things green, but still intimate and charming...the 2014 Spring Greens Fair is back this weekend, 3/4 May at the wonderful Court of Noke, Staunton on Arrow. Mid Wales Permaculture Network will be there, of course (perennial forest garden plants for sale and adopt-a-plant with free plants for children. This year there will be even more wonderful food, activities, forum discussions, demonstrations, crafts, performace... see it all here:

Monday 17th October, 1.30pm onwards

Alys Fowler has confirmed that she will be with us for the evening – alongside another special guest speaker (tbc)… watch this space! And we have an interesting range of workshops, films and performance lined up, including information about Herefordshire’s two new community energy share offers, workshops on personal carbon trading and stimulating local economic activity through retrofitting, music, a Carbon Trust event for SMEs, discussions and much more. Please put the date in your diary. Foyer stalls for this event are now almost fully booked, so if you or your organisation want to be represented on the day, please get in touch asap! Saturday 22nd October, 10am – 4pm

Our ‘Information Market Place’ in Hereford High Town is also filling up nicely. We will have market stalls with information about Herefordshire Community Renewables, solar and PV, insulation schemes and support, green burial, cycle support and repair, the Mandorla Co-Housing Project to name a few. The price for stalls at both events is the same, and we are operating a sliding scale to ensure that those with a small turnover can afford to attend.
