  • The 2014 Spring Greens Fair


    Bigger, better, bursting with good things green, but still intimate and charming...the 2014 Spring Greens Fair is back this weekend, 3/4 May at the wonderful Court of Noke, Staunton on Arrow. Mid Wales Permaculture Network will be there, of course (perennial forest garden plants for sale and adopt-a-plant with free plants for children. This year there will be even more wonderful food, activities, forum discussions, demonstrations, crafts, performace... see it all here:

11:00am - The Eco Centre of Wales will be running an event for those interested in renewables and in Solar PV specifically. There will be briefings, tours of the Solar Farm at Rhosygilwen and specialists attending to answer all your questions. 16 Sep 2011 - Foraging Food for Free 10am-4.30pm  Cost: £35*/£40   Facilitator: Chloe Griffiths

A ramble around Denmark Farm led by wild food expert Chloe Griffiths. Providing an opportunity to identify and discuss edible and useful plants growing on site. There will then be time to prepare some wild foods together (e.g. salads, pudding, drink). The day will include learning about the various uses of different plants for medicine, in play, in myth and legend. How to include models of wild food in your garden, especially taking elements from the stacking model of forest gardening, will also be covered. Bring: good footwear and waterproofs.

***Special Package for Foraging Course only: 1 night Camping at Denmark Farm Eco Campsite (either 15th or 16th Sept) - just £5 per person when attending this course.
