Seed collecting - storage solution
Make a seed packet in 10 seconds
The other day I grappled with slippery silicone baking paper to make seed packets, and used one sticky label to seal and label each one. It took quite a while, consumed a lot of labels and was fiddly.
Today I was looking at the wonderful LOOP project website – LOOP is a Llanidloes project to foster community and its resilience. They promote culture, seed swapping and bread, among other things. Here is the link to the page on how to make a really simple seed packet with no sticky stuff involved, and you write directly on the packet. I tried it and the seeds did not fall out. It looks nice and neat and can easily be made from scrap computer paper, blank on one side, trimmed to make it a square. See:http://www.theloopproject.co.uk/2010/07/seed-packet/
