Can we encourage as many as possible to sign and/or organise petitions - and if possible to attend the "Day of Action" at the Carmarthen Guildhall on Saturday 30th August at 10am.

If the TTIP goes ahead, as is being discreetly negotiated at present, it will make billions for the US global corporations and ruin our society, economy and environment in the process.

Cae Poeth news update

Date change for Cae Poeth event

Due to unavoidable circumstances we've had to change the dates of the Autumn skillshare at Cae Poeth Nature Reserve.  It's now going to be almost a Winter one, it will run on Fri 18 and Sat 19 Nov 2011.  We'll make sure we get a nice fire going to keep us all warm and provide lots of hot drinks!

We'll be doing some willow weaving (screens, baskets, whatever you wish to try your hand at).  Also seeing which of the trees we planted last Spring have survived, looking for evidence of dormice, doing some general conservation work (path maintenance, bench making etc) and, if I can source some free materials, building a saw horse and/or shavehorse to keep on site for future work.  If anyone has some nice thick cuts of wood they'd like to donate we could make ourselves some nice 3-legged stools, too!  And of course, we'll have a fire going to make brews and sit and chat around.

Carshare available at the beginning/end of each day from Machynlleth, for more info please contact Cath on 01654 702993 / 07757 211059 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
