    Bigger, better, bursting with good things green, but still intimate and charming...the 2014 Spring Greens Fair is back this weekend, 3/4 May at the wonderful Court of Noke, Staunton on Arrow. Mid Wales Permaculture Network will be there, of course (perennial forest garden plants for sale and adopt-a-plant with free plants for children. "Conscious Oil: Myth and Mind in the Age of Petroleum"

What is the impact of  petroleum in all our lives?  Come to the Herb Garden in Llandrindod Wells during  the month of October and discover this through a  magnificent  series of pictures. These pictures are by Emily Johns.  They trace oil's  innocent beginnings  as a healing lotion to its present giant status across the globe and in every corner of our lives.  The pictures, printed on silk, are powerful and compelling.  This is a rare opportunity to view them  in the comfort and welcome of the Herb Garden Cafe.  The Cafe is open from 9.30 to  5.00  Monday to Saturday. An evening of narrative and song about " Conscious Oil " .

What is the significance of oil in all our lives?    Throughout October there is an exhibition of pictures highlighting its impact. The exhibition is called “Conscious Oil: Myth and Mind in the age of Petroleum” . It can be viewed at the Herb Garden Cafe in Llandrindod Wells. Now you have a chance to find out about these pictures and the message they bring.

Come to the Herb Garden Cafe in Llandrindod Wells on October 15th for an evening of narrative and song on Conscious Oil.  You can trace the story of oil and its critical  importance for us now.   The evening will  feature Diana Marquand, campaigner for social justice and sustainability. She will tell of the story behind the pictures. She will explain the meaning of Ecocide and a need for international laws which protect habitats and communities. She will explore the need for inner transition and how we can then work together to make a difference . She will be supported by the Pales Peace Choir with songs from across the world about caring for the earth, peace and our common humanity. You can also hear of the steps  Llandrindod Wells has begun to take toward  conscious oil and a sustainable future.  Doors open at 7.00pm and admission is free.  For further details go to or phone 01597 823082
