  • TRANSATLANTIC TRADE & INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP petition

    Can we encourage as many as possible to sign and/or organise petitions - and if possible to attend the "Day of Action" at the Carmarthen Guildhall on Saturday 30th August at 10am.

    If the TTIP goes ahead, as is being discreetly negotiated at present, it will make billions for the US global corporations and ruin our society, economy and environment in the process.

  • The 2014 Spring Greens Fair

     

    Bigger, better, bursting with good things green, but still intimate and charming...the 2014 Spring Greens Fair is back this weekend, 3/4 May at the wonderful Court of Noke, Staunton on Arrow. Mid Wales Permaculture Network will be there, of course (perennial forest garden plants for sale and adopt-a-plant with free plants for children. This year there will be even more wonderful food, activities, forum discussions, demonstrations, crafts, performace... see it all here:

Tools for Self Reliance roadshow dates

Tools for Self Reliance, Cymru, will be selling their lovingly refurbished tools at . . .  11th February SEEDY SATURDAY, CARMARTHEN  St. Peter’s Hall, Nott Square from 10am – 3pm.     The usual mix of seed swapping, local crafts, produce and sustainable, fairtrade stalls.TFSR will be sellingtheir usual range of quality reconditioned garden, green wood working and other tools as well as Fair Trade tools made by blacksmiths in Tanzania. Free entry with food available.

New collection point for tools

A new tools collection point in Carmarthen is up and running. It’s in the Healthy Planet bookstore, which is in the old Allied Carpet store in Pensarn, Carmarthen.  The store is currently open Monday to Saturday from 10am, closing times in the afternoon vary.  For up to date opening times visit the Healthy Planet Carmarthen Facebook page
