Everyone is welcome. Ideally we hope to have representatives from all of the groups in the county present, whether you are a transition group or a cycle group, a FOE group or a village community group – if sustainability is at your core we would love to meet with you.

Yes Men Fix The World - Friday 18th February

7pm at The Oxford Arms

Highly entertaining and funny, this is a parable for the 21st Century. Don't miss-it!

Our Forests, Our Futures - Thursday 3rd March

7pm at The Oxford Arms

A beautiful & moving short film, shot in Burma, portraying the struggle by local people to take control of their land, against the forces of an opressive regime and of inscrupulous business concerns from neighbouring China.

This is a short film full of hope which will be presented by Christine Forrester who lives in Kington, but who has worked in Burma, helping to make this film and enabling community empowerment.

KLEEN films/Talks meeting - Thursday 3rd February from 8pm at The Oxford to plan next programme.

Cae Poeth nature reserve

Please come join us for a winter weekend up at Cae Poeth Nature Reserve anytime between 10 - 4 on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, 21/22/23 January.

On the Friday we're pleased to have Adam working with us, starting off work on the fence to partition off part of the lake surround. This is being done for human safety reasons as well as to minimise disturbance of nature around the lake.  Adam will be showing us how to use on-site (some coppised) materials to build three different types of fence - deadhedge, willow and rustic.  We hope to get the fence completed by the end of the weekend, as well as continuing with ongoing maintenance work/nature surveys on the site. Of course, we will also spend time enjoying the warmth of the fire and many tea/coffee opportunities!

For more information please contact me on 01654 702993 / 07757 211059, or email me back with any queries.
